For the second straight year, the St. Cecilia Girls Basketball Team won the Class C2 state title. The Hawkettes took down Ponca in the championship game, 41-37.

It is the sixth girls basketball title in school history. For the four seniors on the roster, they could not ask for much more than winning back to back titles.

"We've been together every since we started playing basketball," St. Cecilia senior Makenna Asher said. "We've been with Coach B ever since he started coaching our freshmen year so it just feels amazing to be able to say that we went out on another championship."

This is the second time in school history they have won back to back titles. The first time was back in the 1970's when they won three-straight (1977-79).
