Kearney High kicker commits to Nebraska

Kearney, NE -- Kearney High kicker Gabe Heins is the latest member of Nebraska's 2019 walk-on class.

The Bearcat senior tweeted on Thursday his decision to attend UNL, following in the footsteps of both is father and cousin.

Heins becomes the the second kicker in the walk-on class, joining Lincoln Southwest senior Dylan Jorgensen.

Kearney High has produced solid kickers in years past, with Brett Maher currently playing for the Dallas Cowboys.
