Kearney boxer climbing the ranks
William Quintana has been boxing since he was a teenager. Quintana grew up in the foster system. When he was 15 years-old Ernest Quintana adopted him and took him under his wing.
As a kid, William dealt with his own demons but boxing was a way to deal with them. Now the kid from Costa Rica trains every day waiting for his shot and when Marsellos Wilder, Deontay Wilder's younger brother, asked him for a fight, Quintana did not hesitate.
Not only did he fight in the Barclays Center in New York City, he beat Wilder by TKO.
