Loper football looking for efficiency

KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The University of Nebraska- Kearney football team is 1-1. The Lopers are coming off a five-point loss to Central Oklahoma where they have up 21-points in the fourth quarter.

That came after they gave up 21 second-half points to Missouri Southern St. in their season opener. With the struggles they have shown in the second half, Head Coach Josh Lynn is preaching efficiency to his team.

"It goes back to that third down efficiency. We got to get off the field on third down," Lynn said. "Another thing that ways in on that is we need to be able to score when we are in the red zone offensively."

Lopers travel to Emporia St. this Saturday, kickoff is at 2 p.m.
