KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The University of Nebraska - Kearney runs its offense through its running backs. In 2018, the Lopers led the MIAA in rushing yards per game with 268.9 yards per game.

Once again the Lopers led the conference on the ground averaging 300.7 yards a game.

"We all have a pretty good bond with each other so it's not like we bump heads. We kind of want each other to succeed. It's not a one back thing it's a two back three back sometimes," UNK running back, David Goodwin said. "So' when we are in the locker room that chemistry is just like together. Trying to get everybody on the same page."

Lopers welcome in nationally ranked Pittsburg State Saturday night. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
