KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The University of Nebraska - Kearney football team is back home after falling to 18th-ranked Pittsburg State last Saturday, Sept. 28. The Lopers jumped out to a 7-0 lead before giving up 24-unanswered points.

Josh Lynn talks to UNK football

"They controlled the front, we didn't do a real good job up front with our offensive line. It's credit to them too, they had a good d-line and got after us," UNK football coach Josh Lynn said. "We didn't control the line of scrimmage like we usually do. We did a good job of defending the run, however five plays that equaled 21 points that's kind of the story of the day."

Lopers welcome in win less Northeastern State this Saturday, Oct. 5. Kickoff set for 2 p.m. from Ron and Carol Cope Stadium.
