KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The University of Nebraska - Kearney football team wrapped up the first week of fall camp and they return a host of upperclassmen. One of them, is Senior Quarterback Alex McGinnis.

McGinnis had an inconsistent 2018 season where he only completed 50 percent of his passes.

"I don't think I was consistent enough in the pass game you know. There is some games we all want back. Just trying to put that behind me and take that as learning material," McGinnis said. "I think that's what I did and just trying to learn what I need to improve last year and that's just kind of being consistent. We got a pleathora of backs in the backfield that we're going to pound rock with and then it's just up to me to get the ball to the right guys."

Lopers open up its season on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Missouri Southern St.
