Northwest High School honored a coach tonight at the David Gee Invite at Northwest.

Mike Witt is a teacher and track coach at Northwest high school. This past year he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

The Northwest Student Council has sold "Witt's Warriors" wristbands ever since he informed students and staff that he had Parkinson's.

They have sold over 300 wristbands and all of the money is going to Parkinson's research.

Tonight they honored him with a Parkinson's awareness walk. A single lap around the track, led by Witt.
