Hastings, NE -- The 2018-19 high school basketball season begins later this week and the Adams Central boys basketball team looks to a be a force in Class C1.

Head coach Zac Foster and the Patriots are coming off a 15-10 finish from a year ago, but feel they have the talent to make a run at the state championships Lincoln - a place they haven't reached since 2016.

Adams Central returns six seniors and four starters, led by guards Nolan Sughroue and Thomas Hunt.

The Patriots open the season Thursday night at home against Aurora.
