Sodbusters bring in four players for 2019 season

Sam Colehower, a 6’2 red shirt freshman from the University of Northern Colorado who is a RHP. Colehower is returning for a second season with the Sodbusters, and is looking to have astrong summer after going 0-4 with a 7.21 ERA and 42 Ks in 48.2 innings. As a returning veteran you can expect Sam to be a leader in the clubhouse.

Carter Sakamoto is one of our three University of Northern Colorado players for the 2019 Sodbusters. The Sodbusters are really excited about Carter and his ability behind the plate. He is a big righty at 6 foot and will be ready to excell coming off his freshman season.

Hayden Heinze is the third member of the University of Northern Colorado to join the Sodbusters for the 2019 season. He is a right handed outfielder who is going to be looking to make an immediate impact on the team after completing his freshman year. Hayden is originally from the Fort Collins Colorado area.

Ivan Verala is a 5’10 right handed junior pitcher from Cabrina University. He is originally from Tucson Arizona and played his first two seasons at Luna Community College. After completing his junior year Ivan will be in top form ready to compete for the Sodbusters.
