St. Paul's perfect season falls short in title game

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - St. Paul entered the State Volleyball Tournament with an unblemished record in games and sets. Both streaks came to an in the three-day affair but the Wildcat volleyball team reached the state title game for the first time in school history.

After falling short a year ago to Lincoln Lutheran, the Wildcats motto all season long was "One Step Farther." St. Paul achieved their goal but ending up falling to the Warriors once again in four sets.

While St. Paul did not take home the Class C1 State trophy, Michael Koehn-Fairbanks squad achieved their goal and made some history in the process.
