KEARNEY, Neb - The Tri-City Storm clinched the best record in the USHL. With four games left to play, the Storm do not have anything to play for in the standings department.
For coach Anthony Noreen, he talked about trying to find a balance between keeping their momentum going while also not trying to get guys hurt.
"It definitely is a balancing act where our goal from game to game has not changed," Noreen said. "We've never talked about what place we're in. We've never talked about the Anderson Cup race. We've talked about getting better."
The Storm still could tie the record for most points in a season if they win out.
