After a very long delay due to COVID-19, legion baseball teams across the state of Nebraska were finally given the opportunity to take the field tonight.

Class C has been hit the hardest by the virus, forcing many teams to either not play this season or not play home games.

That's not the case for Sutton or Fairfield. Sutton was able to continue on with a Juniors (16 and under) team, while Fairfield has both a seniors and juniors squad.

Tonight both Juniors squads took the field at DLD Park in Sutton.

Through four innings the Mustangs led 4-1. After that the bats really got going. Sutton would go on to score eight runs in the next two innings to take game one of the doubleheader 12-2.

Sutton would go on to win game two and sweep the doubleheader.
