Like other Husker fans, former head football coach Tom Osborne was disappointed to see so many people leave the stadium so early when the Huskers took on Ohio State recently.

He could certainly understand since the Big Red trailed the Scarlet and Gray 35-0 at the half on the way to a 56-24 loss.

The Memorial Stadium sellout streak now sits at 359 consecutive games, long before he became head coach in 1973 serving until the end of the 1997 season.

Asked if he could envision that NCAA streak coming to an end, he said "nothing lasts forever."

The Huskers are 3-4 on the season with five regular season games left. The Big Red will visit the Purdue Boilermakers Saturday night at 6:30 and will try and break their second two game losing streak of the season.

The Huskers next play at home November 4 against Northwestern.
