What a season it has been for Connor Beranek.

The UNK Loper senior scored 30 or more points in his last five games and sparked the Lopers to the NCAA Tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Now, Beranek has been named a 3rd-Team All-American by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.

The 6'6" forward from Ravenna is the 11th Loper in school history to earn All-American honors, averaging 25.2 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game as the Lopers went 22-12 this season.

Beranek's total of 831 points and 25.2 average is second in school history and his point total of 1,870 for his career puts him in 7th place, just 14 points behind his former coach Tom Kropp.

Later in March, the National Association of Basketball Coaches will release their All-American team and look for Beranek to be on that one as well.
