Brayden Murdock joined the KNOP News team in February 2016 as the Weekend Meteorologist.
Brayden was born and raised in Ohio and was always fascinated with weather. Some of his earliest memories were taking walks in the rain during summer. His passion for meteorology took him to Ohio University where he became a Forcaster for Scalia Laboratory for Atmospheric Analysis. He soon realized how much he enjoyed explaining the weather nd got his start in broadcasting at WOUB-TV in Athens, Ohio. Brayden said a fond farewell to Ohio University and WOUB when he graduated in December 2014.
Brayden loves weather photography and often tries to snap a few pictures of oncoming storms. In his free time, Brayden likes to watch hockey (especially the Colorado Avalanche), play games, and drive around.
At 6'5", Brayden is just barely the second tallest of the KNOP team, standing in the 6'7" shadow of Tom Clements!
Brayden loves to talk and see weather pictures so feel free to contact him at any time!
