SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. 16th Empire in Scottsbluff is officially under new management.

Ralph Paez and Heather Hayes are creating a new friendly atmosphere with the restaurant.

Residents in the past had issues with the restaurant because it was only open four days out of the week for four hours.

These owners have the restaurant open Monday through Saturday from 11:00am to 1:00am and on Sundays from 9:00am to 1:30pm.

They sell ceviche, mixed with crab, fresh vegetables and chips, monte cristo sandwiches, jalapeño poppers stuffed and wrapped with bacon and tons more.

With their meals involving beef, they use 100% from Nebraska.

They are now providing lunch specials and happy hour every day.

The Owners also provide a lounge area you can rent for weddings, birthday parties, luncheons, graduation receptions and tons more.

It is important for residents to purchase locally to keep these businesses open.

“Everywhere you see on social media, you always see there is nothing in Scottsbluff,” said Ralph Paez, Manager. “There is nothing here to do. Nowhere to go. We need more restaurants. We need more this or that. Well here we have a family ran homegrown man like myself and my family that owns a business.”

They want to also provide free food for area athletes when they can.

They are looking to hire cooks for their establishment.

You can apply by heading over to 16th Empire at 1605 Ave A in Scottsbluff.

Bartenders and servers are encouraged to apply.
