Aulick Leasing is hiring truck drivers

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb (KNEP) Aulick Leasing is looking to hire a large number of truck drivers. Applications are being accepted in Scottsbluff, Fort Morgan, Rapid City, and Lovell for Sugar Beet Rehaul drivers and CDL-A Drivers. They are also hiring Loader Operators and Diesel / Shop Technicians.

The company was recently purchased by TFI International, a logistics and trucking company based in Canada that services Canada, USA, and Mexico. TFI acquires companies that are in good shape. They consider Aulick Leasing and ShirAul a strategic move to access the sugar beet market and strengthen their presence in the Midwest.

While the company is expecting to see growth because of the sale,
Kenny Wineman of Aulick Leasing HR said that the current need for drivers stems from Aulick Leasing’s current contracts. “We’ve been in business for a long time,” said Wineman, “We have a reputation in the community for getting the job done.”

In fact, the company’s slogan is “You can do your job because we do ours.” They haul sugar beet and aggregates for road construction. In South Dakota, they also haul woodchips and molasses, among other things.

Wineman said most of the trucking jobs are “hop in the truck and go.” However, there are some jobs that require drivers to attached hoses to the trucks and blow the materials out. He said that drivers get a lot of respect in the company because they are the largest driving force behind the business.

CDL-A Drivers rates are based on the haul, but according to the hiring site, they can make over $1000 a week. They should be 21years of age or older with a clean driving record, have a CDL Class A License and a minimum of 2 years driving experience and doubles endorsement. They should also be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.

CDL-A Sugar Beet Rehaul Drivers are seasonal employees. They make around $15.75/hr. on a day shift or $19.02/hr. on the night shift. These drivers aren’t expected to have as much experience, but previous driving experience is preferred. They must possess a CDL Class A License with a good driving record and pass a DOT physical.
