LINCOLN, Neb. - (KNEP) - A Western Nebraska woman will spend the next three years behind bars after being convicted on drug charges.

According to the Nebraska Department of Justice, 25-year-old Derrica Pitts of Bridgeport will spend 37 months in prison and see an additional three years of post-release supervision.

This all stems from a February 27th, 2019 controlled buy situation in which Pitts agreed to sell an ounce of heroin and an ounce of methamphetamine for $1,350 in Sidney.
