Head coach Houston Reed is stepping down. Reed made the announcement earlier this week he's heading to the University of Northern Colorado to become an assistant coach with the program.

After ten years at Otero (174-140 record), Reed coached Chadron State (22-88 record) the past four years.

This season despite a 4-24 record the eagles were very competitive. He leaves the CSC program with a solid core of rising upperclassmen including five who will be seniors and three juniors.

Reed enjoyed his time in Chadron and is excited for his new journey in Greeley teaming up with long time friend and former teammate new Northern Colorado head coach Steve Smiley.
