Child pornography leads to Chadron man’s arrest

CHADRON, Neb. An investigation leads to the arrest of a man for child pornography.

Late Wednesday afternoon, Chadron Police Department began an investigation on 37 year old Jonathan Lame related to his attempts to get nude text photographs from his 12 year old niece.

Lame was arrested in Wilson Park when he thought he was meeting up with the 12 year old.

Chadron Police continued their investigation by serving a search warrant into Lame’s residence located on the 500 block of Chapin Street in Chadron.

Officers seized his computers, gaming consoles, cellular phones and other media storage devices.

Three juvenile children, who are all under the age of 12, were removed from Lame’s residence and taken to Nebraska Health and Human Services.

Jonathan Lame was arrested for possession and an attempted possession of child pornography class IIa and II felonies, attempted sexual assault of a child a class Ic felony and attempted incest a class III felony.

Lame was transported to the Dawes County Jail, where his bond is set at 10% of $50,000.00.

Chadron Police received support from the Dawes County Attorney’s Office, the Nebraska State Patrol and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
