The city council approved a vote Thursday to allow Nathan Johnson to present a three-month contract to former city manager Rick Kuckkahn. Johnson will leave his post in March to pursue a similar position in Dillon, Colorado.

The city will begin looking for a permanent replacement immediately. Kuckkahn was city manager for 18 years before retiring in 2016 where Johnson took over.
