ALLIANCE, Neb. - (KNEP) - The City of Alliance is issuing a snow emergency and taking a proactive approach to the latest storm with other closings and delays.
According to Deputy City Clerk Tarrah Krejci, the city is declaring a snow emergency starting Wednesday April, 10th at 8 a.m. Residents who live on designated snow routes are asked to remove all vehicles from those streets. Any vehicles not moved will be towed.
In light of the announcement, the city is also closing the Alliance Senior Center and Alliance landfill Wednesday.
All trash services, including rollout dumpsters, will be delayed until regular scheduled routes next week. The city is asking its residents to keep all rollout dumpsters off the streets as well.
