Colorado man dies in weekend single-car accident near Sidney

SIDNEY, Neb. - (KNEP) - Cheyenne County Attorney’s Office details a Colorado man died in an single-vehicle rollover accident over the weekend.

According to Paul Schaub, the accident occurred around 9pm Saturday evening when 44-year-old Charles Hartsfield of Crook, Colorado veered off Road 113.

Hartfield then allegedly went over a driveway became airborne and rolled two and a half times before the car landed on its passenger side. According to Schaub Hartsfield was ejected.

He was not found until 7:55am the next morning and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation shows it is believed Hartsfield died around two in the morning.
