RaChelle Bowen created Bowen's Body Bars after she created a solid lotion to help her child's sensitive skin's needs. Since she recommended her home-made product she began her now growing-in-popularity business.
"Our lotions have four main ingredients. All are organic and natural. Our products are made up of a solid lotion and a butter."
Say RaChelle Bowen.
Bowen explains the lotions are great to use for skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, which was the original intent of the lotions.
The owner expressed how dry it was, especially during the winter months, posing a struggle to those having to work in the harsh conditions and even those who have to constantly wash their hands in the medical fields.
"When we started, we were really small." explains Bowen, " And then I started seeing how many people in the community that it helped, it kind of blossomed from there."
Bowen's Body Bars created a website, where you can find all their products, which are being sold all across the west coast: BowensBodyBars.com
Some of the products on their website can be found this weekend at the Gering Civic Center where you can have a 'Girls Day Out'.
