The yellow and white tent on Avenue I as well as the blue and white tent on Highway 26 are now open and ready to sell fireworks. The stand is ran by members of the Turning Point Apostolic Church this year. They are raising funds to send individuals to a district conference in Tennessee later this year.

Last year, the tents were manned by a different organization and unfortunately fell victim a robbery. This year, members state they will have individuals inside the tents at all times with some sleeping over inside to ensure the same thing doesn’t happen again.

Scottsbluff Police are reminding the public that fireworks can be shot off between June 25th and July 5th from 8am to 10pm. On July 4th the hours are from 8am to 11:59pm.
