Five arrested during WING Task Force bust in Gering

GERING, Neb. - (KNEP) - The WING Task Force nabs five and nearly 60 grams of suspected methamphetamine from a Gering house.

According to court records, the task force entered a house in the 1300 block of S Street which is located within 1,000 feet of an elementary school. Inside officers located Heather Campbell, Ashley Gomez, Jessica Palomo and Zachary Gessner. They also found Joseph Decoste hiding in a basement closet during the search.

Inside the home, officers located 59.6 grams of suspected meth along with several baggies, a scale, pay sheets and $142 in cash.

All five were taken to Scotts Bluff County Detention Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. All are held on 10% of $85,000.

When officers were booking Gomez, they found an additional small baggie containing suspected meth and have since charged her with an additional charge of possession in a jail.
