Goshen County fire departments receive drinking water

GOSHEN COUNTY, Neb. Fire departments all across Goshen County has received drinking water.

The departments must be all volunteer or mostly volunteer, serve a population of less than 25,000 people and demonstrate a need for drinking water. (Torrington Telegram)

The National Volunteer Fire Council and the representatives from Anheuser-Busch volunteer fire departments across the country made it possible to receive this drinking water.

Representatives from Torrington Volunteer Fire Department, Lagrange Volunteer Fire Department, Yoder Volunteer Fire Department, Lingle Volunteer Fire Department, and Veteran Volunteer Fire Department accepted the first seven pallets out of the 22 that will be delivered and split between the departments in the county.

Each pallet contains 98 cases of drinking water.
