SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - (KNEP) - Governor Pete Ricketts and other Republican delegates make their way to Scottsbluff to encourage people to vote.
In a final push to get people out to the polls Tuesday, Governor Pete Ricketts, who is running against Bob Krist, came out with Senator Deb Fischer, Congressman Adrian Smith and Senator Ben Sasse to talk about what they have done thus far for the state and what they could do if they are re-elected.
Governor Ricketts spoke about the unemployment rate in the state and how more Nebraskans are in the workforce. Senator Fischer spoke about the ability to travel to Nebraska and how she believes rural communities such as Western Nebraska.
Throughout the rally, Governor Ricketts spoke about the importance to vote in tomorrow’s election. This was part of a five-city tour of the state.
