SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. Walmart, Fresh Foods in Gering and Main Street Market are some of the stories that have set limits with some of their items.

At Main Street Market, they now have a two package limit for hamburger meat and a three package limit for toilet tissue.

There is to be a limit on milk but with it now coming in with no issues at all, they lifted it.

This limit is used to protect the consumers and offer them the same availability for all items no matter when you come into the store.

If they do not have an item, they have one pretty similar to it.

“We don’t know when this product is going to come back in,” said Eric King, Store Manager. “We don’t know from the manufactures how much they are providing. We are trying to protect the warehouses by not outselling or emptying them all completely out which impacts our consumers.”

Target and Walmart are a couple local stores that changed their hours due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Main Street Market states that their hours will stay the same from 6:00am to 9:00pm.
