TORRINGTON, Wyo. As flu season approaches and you want to keep your body as healthy as possible, it is important to receive your flu shots and blood screenings.

Eastern Wyoming College is offering both at their campus.
Flu vaccines can provide protection against infection involved with viruses.
You will want to get a yearly flu shot.
Blood screenings are used to check your blood work, heart function, kidney function, liver function, triglycerides, cholesterol, electrolytes, cric acid and fasting glucose used for diabetes.
You will want to get your blood screened twice a year.
These tests are provided to everyone and even more important for college students.
“With the campus being the way that it is and people intermingling, the flu does spread very, very fast,” explained Anchira Angie Ingram, Representative of Wyoming Health Fair. “We do have quads for series of flu shots so hopefully, we will be able to nip that in the butt and get a lot of people not to be so sick.”
They do accept Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and cash.
They are available until 9:00am today and between 6:00am to 9:00am on Thursday, October 10th.
