Local people stranded in Honduras

North Platte, Neb. (KNOP) - Deland Humpherys of North Platte says a group of drivers are stranded at the CoCo View Resort in Roatan with 42 other Americans. Six of them are from North Platte and Ogallala.

Humpherys says both Delta and American airlines pulled out with no warning. and cancelled their return tickets for March 21st. Humphreys was told United airlines will start limited flights on March 25th if the government allows it.

He says they are hopefully on schedule to leave later this week. He says the resort is giving them food, rooms and diving, which is a blessing. Humphreys say Marshall Law is in affect in Honduras. He says is concerned for each other and it shows.
