Bluffs Middle School students received a suturing lab from nursing students attending the University of Nebraska Medical Center to spike their interest in nursing.

These students were taught how to stitch a banana and inject an orange.

One student is interested in being a Doctor so she says this lab helps her in a big way.

“I will be able to know how to like do stitches and it makes me more interested in doing it,” explained Yazmine Galindo, 8th Grader.
