Man, woman escape Broken Bow house fire

North Platte A fire Tuesday morning in Broken Bow left two people without a home. Officials say a man and woman are o.k. after a fire started in their attic. Andy Holland is the Fire/EMS coordinator for the city of Broken Bow. He says 19 firefighters brought a house fire under control at 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The Red Cross is giving assistance to the two people who lived inside the home.

Holland says the electrical fire started in the attic. He says there's also smoke damage in the kitchen and back porch. He estimates between $15,000-$20,000 in damage to the house.
