A pleasant Mother's Day weekend is in store for the area with temperatures staying seasonally cool in the mid 60s on Saturday and upper 60s on Sunday.
A cold front moving through the area could bring in some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms Saturday afternoon into the early evening, but behind that front into Sunday, mainly sunny skies and dry conditions are expected.
Warm and generally dry weather is then forecast for next week with readings climbing into the upper 70s to low 80s.
