NP man not hurt after pickup rolls into canal

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A North Platte man rolled his pickup into the canal southwest of the city Tuesday. Lincoln County Sheriff officers say 33-year-old Donald Bristol told them a deer ran in front of him along Canal Road and that's the reason his pick up rolled into the water.

Bristol says he was driving east on Canal Road. Officials say Bristol refused medical treatment. He told them he was not hurt. Officials say drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the rollover.
