Officer finds nearly two dozen baggies in parked vehicle

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - (KNEP) - Officer recovered nearly two dozen baggies during a stop in Scottsbluff Monday evening.

According to court records, an officer was called to East 17th street for a report of a woman yelling and observed a car idling in the middle of the street. The driver of the vehicle, Milana Baltzell, moved to the curb but remained inside.

When the officer contacted the driver, Baltzell gave consent to a search of the vehicle which produced a sealable jewelry baggie with 3.5 grams of methamphetamine. The officer also recovered another 20 new baggies with the same markings.

Once at the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center, officers located an additional two baggies on her. She is facing distribution of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence charges and a $55,000 bond.
