Omaha man sentenced 17 years for distributing child pornography

LINCOLN,Neb. (KOLN)- United States Attorney Joe Kellly announced that 65-year-old Gregory Bartunek was found guilty of distributing child pornography and sentenced to 17 years of imprisonment.

A computer at Bartunek's residence was observed using an online chat service to distribute images of child pornography on March 26, 2016 and April 27, 2016.

A search warrant was served to Bartunek's residence in South Omaha on May 25, 2016. In addition to seizing computers, Omaha FBI agents witnessed four life-sized infants and toddler dolls with two having male genitalia.

A jury had previously found Bartunek guilty of child pornography offences. After his sentence, Bartunek will begin a 15-year term of supervised released and be required to register as a sex offender.
