SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - (KNEP) - A rural Scottsbluff resident was airlinked to Regional West Medical Center after a two-vehicle accident Monday morning.
According to Scotts Bluff County Sheriff Mark Overman, the accident occurred just after 10am at the intersection of Sugar Factory Road and Lake Minatare Road.
A 2000 Ford F150 pickup driven by 69-year-old Clifford Walker made a stop at the stop sign while going westbound on Lake Minatare Road. Walker then entered the intersection and hit 70-year-old Raymond Schultz; who was heading northbound on Sugar Factory Road.
Schultz was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Walker received a stop sign violation.
