SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - (KNEP) - In celebration of June 1st Airport Appreciation Day, various planes will be on display at the Western Nebraska Regional Airport.

The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 608 with help host a fly-in event from 7:30am to 12pm on that day. The plan is to have various aircrafts out including a C-130 cargo plane from Wyoming Air Guard and a KC-135 from the Nebraska Army Air Guard in Lincoln.
The event will have military recruiters on hand as well as pilots who can ask any questions regarding their planes. The Kiwanis Club will provide breakfast with other vendors set to be there as well.
The Young Eagle program will also be on hand with four or five aircrafts that can give free plane rides to kids who sign up.
They are also hoping to have some Blackhawk Army helicopters as well.
