Platte Valley Creamery first renovation after 40 years

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. Platte Valley Creamery receives a renovation after 40 years of business.
This creamery is very well known for their ice cream.

They used to sell milk but stopped due to competition.

With the renovation, two large windows and the drive up window have been updated, the outside sign has been replaced after 90 years, the wooden picket fence was removed for a new middle fence, new LED lights for cheaper run but effective and the floor has been redone.

Owner Ron Smith wants to thank everyone that has supported his business over 40 years.

“Well I want to thank them, naturally, because if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be here 40 years,” explained Smith.

The Platte Valley Creamery is open seven days a week from 2:00pm to 6:00pm for their winter hours.

During the summer, they will be open seven days a week from 9:00am to 9:30pm.
