SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - (KNEP) - Scottsbluff Police are investigating an overnight stabbing they believe happened on the southeast side of town.
According to Captain Tony Straub, officers were dispatched to a home in the 1300 block of East Overland around 11:30pm Tuesday. Inside they found a 50-year-old male with three stab wounds in his upper chest and back.
The victim was admitted to Regional West Medical Center and kept overnight for observation. Captain Straub said this one is difficult because the victim was not cooperative with the initial investigation into what occurred.
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding out what happened and who did this. Captain Straub says they haven’t received reports of rash violence hitting that side of town.
If the public has any information they are asked to contact the Scottsbluff Police Investigation Department.
