Preparing fun rides for Oregon Trail Days; multiple inspections included

GERING, Neb. Frazier Shows is setting up Oregon Trail Days rides for the upcoming festivities.

They have prepared these rides for over 20 years now.

They include a mixture of 25 rides for teenagers, adults, children and families.

Their most popular ride is the Freak Out.

It is a ride that came all the way from the Netherlands.

They also added a new kiddie ride for the children.

For ride setups, it takes them about two and a half to three days.

They conduct daily inspections, pre-opening inspections and post ride inspections.

They also have a third party system inspection.

“It’s no admission,” said Stephen Broetsky, General Manager. “It’s free parking so if you don’t feel like riding rides, you can come out, walk around and it will cost you nothing. You can play games or eat some good fair food. It’s something that everybody of all ages can enjoy and it’s affordable.”

They are open at 5:00pm on Thursday, July 11th, Friday at 6:00pm, Saturday at 3:00pm and Sunday at 4:00pm.

This will also be the first year they will take over the Scotts Bluff County Fair.

It will be available from July 31st to August 3rd.
