SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. First Baptist Church is hosting their monthly Diaper Depot but during this month of March, there are some changes.

With COVID-19 precautions in play, families will drive their cars to pick up these diapers through the annex of their carport at First Baptist Church on Saturday, March 28th from 9:00am to 11:00am. (Brian Sherrod, KNEP)

Usually, staff will meet with these families in the front foyer to talk and minister with people.

With COVID-19 precautions in play, families will drive their cars to pick up these diapers through the annex of their carport.

For the church, it limits the exposure between them and the families.

Usually, families have to sign up for these services but this month, anyone is welcomed.

This service is important even more than ever.

“I think it’s hugely important,” said Randy Johnson, Deacon. “We normally serve between 40 to 60 families a month so this is obviously a need there and hopefully we are servicing that need.”

The Diaper Depot will be on Saturday, March 28th from 9:00am to 11:00am.
