SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - (KNEP) - Regional West Medical Center takes time out of their week to celebrate hospital week and show appreciation to their staff.
This week is National Hospital Week and for Regional West the week is even more special because they are tying the week into their 95th anniversary.
Tim Osterholm, executive vice president and chief operating officer, exclaims that it’s a special feeling to provide the kind of care they give to patients and their families.
All week long the hospital is providing entertainment for their staff with trivia, ice cream socials and casual Friday attire. Osterholm adds that it’s about celebrating the people in the hospital which are the best asset the facility has.
The overall theme for this year is “Celebrating Hope and Healing.” Osterholm believes it’s a blessing to work with the individuals at the hospital and be a level-2 trauma service for the Panhandle.
