The accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems means Regional West is continuing to ensure they meet national standards for safety, education and training.

The hospital holds monthly meetings and stated Air Link has become an integral part of their trauma services program since November 1995. The program operates throughout a five-state region including Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota, Kansas and Colorado.

Air Link is just one of four CAMTS-accredited medical transport programs in the state.
