Rural Nebraska communities receive access to $2.2 million in Disaster Recovery

PANHANDLE, Neb. The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Nebraska State Director Karl Elmshaeuser announces today that Nebraska has been allocated with nearly $2.2 million in grants.

Within our area, those that can receive the allocated grants include Box Butte, Dawes, Deuel, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff and Sheridan. (USDA)

They are available through the Community Facilities Program to help rural communities continue in their recovery from the devastating effects of FEMA declared disasters in Nebraska.

Grant applications will be accepted at USDA Rural Development.
