Sam & Louie’s celebrates six years; partnership with United Way for Duck Dash

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. Sam & Louie’s celebrates their six year anniversary of being open by partnering up with United Way for their Annual Duck Dash.

Customers can win free drawings for door prizes including gift certificates and several ducks for the Duck Dash. It is $10 a duck and the money collected goes towards 15 local programs. (Brian Sherrod, KNEP)

Customers can enter free drawings for door prizes, including gift certificates from Sam & Louie's and other downtown merchants, and several ducks for the Duck Dash.

As you order from Sam & Louie’s, you receive a signature spice.

Owner of Sam & Louie’s Melissa Schneider says it feels good to give back to the community.

“Community involvement is always important to us,” said Schneider. “You are nothing without the community around you. It’s the little things and giving back.”

Executive Director of United Way of Western Nebraska Steph Black says they are blessed with their partnership with Sam & Louie’s.

“She does so many things for United Way and for the whole community,” said Black. “She’s a great person that gives back a lot of not only her resources but her time.”

You can also purchase ducks at Team Auto Center.
