GERING, Neb. - (KNEP) - In light of the coronavirus outbreak, the administration building will be temporarily restricted to the public.

If you have any business to conduct inside the building you are to contact that office and set uop an appointment or to determine if the matter could be handled by phone, online or email.

An attendant will be stationed at the west doors or the 11th street entrance. Anyone entering will be required to provide information before going in. Scotts Bluff County encourages you to use online services on its website to cut down the amount of foot traffic in the courthouse and to limit the opportunity for community spread.

Drop boxes will be installed starting Tuesday March, 24th between the courthouse and the administration buildings. These boxes, which will include one on each side, can be used to drop off documents or payments for processing by a county office. If you choose to use this method be sure to place the documents and information inside an envelope which is clearly marked for a particular office.
