Scottsbluff School District finds three ugly and unkind lists by students

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - (KNEP) - Scottsbluff School District anticipates a routine school day Friday after three students are found to have written and circulated lists of classmates.

According to the school district, over the last 24 hours, the school found three examples coming from both the middle school and high school that included ugly and unkind lists of classmates.

The suspected writers have been identified and both the SROs and Scottsbluff Police there is no credible threat but are taking the situation seriously. It is alleged the students imitated the idea from a nearby school district.

Scottsbluff Public Schools detail there is no reason for families to have a heightened concern for their child’s safety but if you have any questions or concerns contact the school’s principal.
